alt:Two issues of the zine Scroll Lock, issue 41. Cover in pink and dark blue. The headline says 'Whose problem is AI solving?'. The picture shows a woman wearing an apron looking upset while an old looking toaster says 'You've used 5 of your 5 monthly toasts, upgrade to unlimited for just $4.99 a month!'
Scroll Lock is a 20-page Risograph-printed zine that explores our relationship with technology: what it promised, what it delivered, and what we do now.
But it is also more than that. A closer look reveals a loose thread that pulls from the page to the web, in a journey that tells the story of important project in the history of computing.
It was first released during PyCon US 2026 in Long Beach, CA.
