zcmag zine idea generator says: "Make a secret zine that uses public domain materials to illustrate a tarot spread." Challenge accepted!

I am planning on making a zine that communicates some practical skill, maybe soup making or similar. If not I will make an art zine.

Not sure which zine(s) I would like to submit! I've made 9 since June of last year when I got the zine fever. If we're okay with multiple digital submissions I might go in for that. If not, please let me know if any of these seems more aligned with the project than the others:

Galatea vs. The Divine Feminine is a tragicomic litzine, flash fiction story about a terrible t4t art school couple.

Worm Porno is a quirky perzine about writing Star Trek fanfic and smut with friends.

I Just Think She's Neat, vol. 1: Kristen Stewart is a gay cinephile fanzine about the underrated actor, producer, and director and covers 10 of her films and some of her onscreen aptitudes.

Elixir of Sex Shift is a perzine about my life, the COVID-19 pandemic, and tabletop roleplaying games, and how playing off-brand D&D online transed my gender.

The Girl at the Snack Bar is Getting Fired is a flash fiction minizine in the form of increasingly unhinged ""specials"" signs made by our titular Snack Bar Girl.

Scroll Lock is a 20-page Risograph-printed zine that explores our relationship with technology: what it promised, what it delivered, and what we do now.

But it is also more than that. A closer look reveals a loose thread that pulls from the page to the web, in a journey that tells the story of important project in the history of computing.

It was first released during PyCon US 2026 in Long Beach, CA.

<imgsrc="/img/flip.png"alt="Two issues of the zine Scroll Lock, issue 41. Cover in pink and dark blue. The headline says 'Whose problem is AI solving?'.

digitally designed zine in color about leatherworking tools and basics. will have a home printable version, a digital reading version, and a web version with text alternatives and with all tools linked to actual listings in a store.

Bats in your belfry or habitation? A quick guide on what to do if you find yourself with a creature of the night as your unexpected roommate.

I make supernatural slice of life and romance comics. Most of them also have some horror elements. The shorter ones I have available in digital and printed zine formats. Some of them are nsfw. Most of them are vampire related, though I also have some werewolf and fae comics. For the physical zine, if nsfw is okay I would be most interested in sending in Knotted by my Hot Werewolf Husband (fluffy smut of a werewolf/fae husband wife duo having sex in the woods). If sfw is better, I could do Our Grand Illusion (lesbian vampire retelling of Phantom of the Opera), Modern Ghouls (vampire bffs slice of life), or Besotted by a Maniac Goblin Nightmare Girl (Hot Werewolf Husband prequel of how they met). I these would also be my picks for digital. They're all on my itchio if you'd like to check out the listings for more info and art: <ahref="https://rainydaymariah.itch.io/"target="_blank"rel="external">rainydaymariah.itch.io

My zines are inspired by science fiction, conversations with friends, and observations of everyday life. For FediZineFest, I'll probably submit an issue of my newsletter-like zine, Open Curiosity, which combines all these topics.

I'm working on a quarter page zine I'm calling works cited. It's somwhere between litzine and perzine. Each page contains one sentence with either a footnote or endnote (still working on formatting). The foot/endnote leads to a roughly paragraph length mini-essay about my experiences with urban wildlife/nature. There may or may not be hand-drawn illustrations of flowers, depending on formatting.

Robert Kingett's "Colonization of Confidence", typset and printed into pamphlet/zine form by the clowns at #thisOldClownHouse.

ed. note: Robert's website is linked in the header text; Liam and Russ can be found at <ahref="https://whirling.top"target="_blank"rel="external">whirling.top.

Two zines that explore my experiences in the workplace as an individual with multiple marginalized identities. They will work as companion zines with one exploring my experiences as a non-binary person and one exploring my experiences as a disabled person.

Photocopy collage zine on the topic of precarious embodiment, environment, and attachment. Source material includes 1980s Shipping industry magazines, Little White Lies, midcentury childrens novels, the Kinsey reports, various other odds and ends. I'll provide a digital scan as well as physical copies.
